Dan Wheeler

Dan is an Operating Finance Director in the Trailblazers offering. In this role, he works with mid-sized private equity firms and their portfolio companies to optimize financial performance.

Prior to joining Beckway, Dan spent 12 years in various finance and accounting roles. As the Director of FP&A for Barry-Wehmiller Flexible Systems and as the Controller for Stäubli Corporation USA, he partnered with business leaders and led finance teams in both domestic and international environments. His areas of expertise include financial reporting (internal and external), forecasting, strategic cost reduction programs, working capital management, process improvement, internal controls, and manufacturing cost accounting. He has a proven track record of leveraging systems data to drive insights.

Dan began his career in public accounting, with stints at Cherry Bekaert and KPMG, where he experienced a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, construction, utilities, telecommunications, business services, financial services, and banking.

Dan earned his B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Business Technology from Bob Jones University. Dan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of South Carolina.
